Last updated: 3 October 2026 · Android app com.gauravkr.pdfscanner

These terms apply to the PDF Scanner Android app ("the app"), developed by Gaurav Kumar, Gemini Digital Solutions ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.

1. Using the app

The app is free to use and supported by ads. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control. Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app except where the law allows it.

2. Your documents

You are responsible for the documents you scan and for having the right to copy, edit or share them. Do not use the app to copy material in breach of copyright or other laws.

3. Accuracy

Auto-crop, filters and text recognition (OCR) are automatic and can make mistakes. Check scans and extracted text before relying on them, especially for legal, financial or official documents.

4. Keep copies of important files

We are not responsible for documents that are lost, damaged or deleted, including when the app is uninstalled. If you protect a PDF with a password and forget it, we cannot recover it.

5. Google services

Document scanning and text recognition use Google Play services and ML Kit, and ads are provided by Google AdMob. These are subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for their availability.

6. Advertising

The app shows a banner ad on its home screen. Do not click ads in a misleading or automated way. Products advertised are offered by third parties, not by us.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Agra, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date; continuing to use the app means you accept it.
